What to Expect When You Move Deeper Into Your Feminine Essence

This is the fourth blog in a four-part series that I’m writing about feminine essence. What it means. Why it matters. How to return to it. How to transition out of it. Make sure not to miss the rest by signing up for our blog here!

For three weeks now we’ve talked about what moving into your feminine essence means, how to do it and what it can do for you. Here we’ve got the good and the transformative about what happens when you move into your feminine essence.

The Good

In 2022, I was faced with numerous BIG* decisions. As a part of that process, I was offered a few opportunities that seemed incredible. Until…I dialed into my intuition. It wasn’t that the opportunities were slimy or something was fishy about them. It’s that they weren’t right for me. So I passed on them. When you live in your feminine essence, your intuition truly guides your life.

Have you ever looked what some might call a “gift horse” in the face and said, “thank you, but I’ll pass?” The more deeply that you move into your feminine essence, the less “crazy” doing this seems. Following your intuition will lead to big changes for you. It may seem a little intimidating at first because it’s a different way to live, but the outcomes you have from doing it, will help you live the life you were put here to live.

Living in your feminine essence puts you in touch with your highest self, the woman who has all of the answers, the grace and the love. When you’re struggling, it’s much easier to tap into her and step into her shoes.

You’ll also feel yourself:

  • Finding more enjoyment in life
  • Living a more aligned life
  • Walking away from society’s idea of beauty and success and stepping into your own ideals

*Apologies for being vague. It’s not my favorite way to communicate but I have to be careful about what I say at the moment.

The Transformative

Moving into your feminine essence is a transformative experience meaning that change is imminent and sometimes drastic.

Think about a change that you’ve made in your life. Maybe after college you stopped hanging out with college friends because you wanted to get serious about your career and they didn’t. Maybe you joined a running group in place of meeting coworkers after work for cocktails. Either of these changes–long term–shift your lifestyle, how you view yourself and how you interact with others. Moving into your feminine essence does the same thing.

I’ve noticed that by spending more time in my feminine essence, being around people, especially women, who are deeply rooted in their masculine energy, is really hard for me. When it’s really obvious, I almost have a nails-on-the-chalkboard moment and just want to exit the situation. Of course, being in business and enjoying all types of people, I can’t do that.

Also, whatever you don’t like in someone else, is something to be examined in yourself. When I feel like people who are in their masculine energy are screaming at me (they aren’t), I use my intuition to understand that my reaction is actually a cue for ME to slow down.

One of the other big transformative moments that I’ve had living in my feminine essence is that I understand that everyone is on their own journey and it’s not my job (or my right) to convert them to my journey or save them. This was a critical discovery for me.

Nothing About This is Bad!

I had to add this because even though change can be different, nothing about where you will go when you lean further into your feminine essence is bad. At least not for you. When you lean into your feminine essence you:

  • Have a much easier time making decisions
  • Build stronger teams and relationships
  • Are able to laser focus on your priorities
  • Enjoy life more
  • Accelerate both your internal and external successes

Body Practices that Support Moving Into Your Feminine Essence

Feeling challenged as you move further into your feminine essence is normal. After all, accomplished women are accustomed to setting goals and getting shit done. Usually, those goals are external. Internal work is harder to do and harder to measure.
